Deontay - You are doing terrific. When Ms. Lucinda and I watched you from the press table at the Golden Gloves we had the feeling that you were going all the way.
When I covered you for the News in Colorado and Houston I continued to have that feeling.

You are a natural boxer, and you are very smart to listen to your coaches. Your talent, plus your eagerness, and your willingness to take instruction will take you far. You don't come this far in 3 years without making your mind a sponge. Keep up the positive attitude, and you're going to continue to have a blast! Good luck to your daughter!
